upper a arm rear alignment bolt
« on: March 11, 2017 - 02:33:17 AM »
hello,
working on the front suspension of my 73 cuda. I bought some firm feel upper control arms to replace the stock for the better handeling. Got the passenger side out no  problem. On the driver side the rear alignment bolt is stuck and I have to cut it out to get the old arm out.

I am trying to find a replacement cam alignment bolt for the rear of the A arm. From the passenger side the rear bolt appears longer than the front bolt. Searching on line I keep finding the front bolts but not the back bolt.

Anyone know a part number or someone who carries the rear cam bolt?

any help appreciated.

They are the same and are typically sold in pairs.

I bought Moog #K8243A

Thank you both for the reply.

I just wanted to make sure since the OE ones I took out were different lengths front and back than what I was seeing offered and the new ones were listed as front and rear.

You might want to verify the flats on the new bolt aren't further out from the cam than the old.

Bushings on OE a Arm were 1 7/8 for rear bushing and front bushing 1 1/2 inch. Rear had longer bolt. Firm feel tubular  has 1 1/2 inch bushings both so. Front length bolt should work for front  rear
