Cuda Dash Repair or Replacement?
« on: November 17, 2002 - 03:16:44 PM »
Has anyone had any luck repairing a dash pad (at a reasonable cost) or skip the hassle and get a repro?  Open to suggestions and other alternatives (not interested in a cap from other postings).

Contact your local dealership. There is so much plastic and such in the new cars. They generally do not replace it. They have it repaired by a local mobile service. At least that is what I found. It was also pretty reasonable.

If you have a small crack,  you can pickup a dash repair kit at your local autoparts store. I think it's marketed by loctite and consists of filler and a handle that you heat up to press into a levant(looks like the wrinkle dash) style finish.
