Tony would be able to answer that better than me. My answer is that I'm way more concerned about what it looks like on the outside. On the inside, hitting it with a thick coat of whatever organisol-alternative we come up with, or even for that matter Rhini-lining, is fine by me. On the inside I just want to keep it from rusting and not look obvious from the outside :-)
One thing that may not be clear, though, is that Tony is making a box structure on the underside of the hood that I can use to seal with an air cleaner (NOT a six pak cleaner but a single 4bbl Air Grabber baser) to create a fresh air system. This will give him access to most of the inside of the scoop from the bottom.
