1970 Cuda 440-6 FK5 numbers
« on: April 13, 2017 - 06:18:52 PM »
Does anyone know how many 1970 440-6 Pack Cuda's were produced in FK5 Deep Burnt Orange Metalliic?

I understand that it wasn't a popular colour back in 1970 for the Cuda and maybe other models and was discontinued pretty quickly but wonder how many were actually produced as six packs, particularly four speeds.

Thanks.

Looks like your ride is matching #.
Best you can do is decode your vin and check your build sheet and compare it to the 440-6 packs built.
Take the best match and add your color.
My Deep Burnt Orange 70 Gran Coupe convertible is 1 0f 66 built with 383 4bbl 335 Heavy Duty 727 trans, full options, add color and  M88 it is probably 1a fewwith white top.
It also has the M88 trim on rear panel but I do not have any documentation on build sheet or vin tag. No cruse control only thing missing from options on the car.

Can't help with total numbers.  However, I can add one (still un-restored) to the count.

non shaker, FK5 440-6, 4spd
