Go for the 340 car. It will retain it's value better, it came with fog lights, tail panel blackout, exhaust through the valance and a scooped hood. It will also handle better in stock form.

I agree on the 340 car. Big block is cool too so not a bad second choice. I have two big block 70 Challengers but I really want a 340 car next.

Another vote for the 340. If the big block was a 440 then it's a tougher decision. If everything else is equal then the only other consideration is which colour he likes better.

Definitely the 340... If it were a N code 383 I'd had to think about it for 30 seconds before picking the 340 but an L code? No Brainer, take the 340....

Depends on what he's going to do with the car.
383:  BB will look cool at car shows
340: better handling for a car that is driven

I agree, the 340.  Eve though I'm not a fan of yellow, lemon twist yellow beats an all white car any day and the 340 will definitely handle better.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I would suggest the 340 car. Plenty of giddy-up and the car is a better balanced package.....
