727 Transmission
« on: April 01, 2017 - 02:18:12 AM »
Will all 727 trans fit a 340? Im looking at a 727 that came off a 73-74 360 engine. Is there a specific serial number I should look for to fit a 340?  Thanks

727 comes in SB and BB. I am not sure about the part numbers. You can check TCI or A and A.

I was thinking the same as you to get a 727 but my builder convinced me not to. The 904 is lighter and less HP to drive. It can be made to withstand high HP. On top of that, no drives haft change needed.

I am running a SB 727 that was behind my 340 in my 52 B3B Dodge PU; works good.
