Hello from California
« on: April 19, 2017 - 11:59:05 PM »
:wavingflag: One week ago, purchased a '73 Challenger 340/automatic, a/c, super blue. Long time ago had a '70 Road Runner convertible and a '68 Dart GT convertible.
Feels good to be behind the wheel of a classic MOPAR again. The 73 Challenger shares the garage with a 68 AMC AMX390. Looking forward to Q&A. Cheers

Welcome to c-c.com from NY. Nice ride!   I'd be curious to know the details on your tire
and rim sizes. Love the Cragars.

Thank you for the compliments and warm welcome. Ron, I live in Contra Costa County, SF East Bay Area. Member 7340, Chrysler/Fiat owns AMC licensing rights. Be interesting if Chrysler resurrected the AMX. Italy had a lot to do with the AMX3 which looks a lot like a De Tomaso Pantera. Dakota, The rim/tire size on my Challenger is  front 225/60 x 15 BFG, and on the rear 255/60 x 15 BFG. The wheels have a different backspacing. I will get back to you on wheel width and back spacing when I get time to remove the wheels.

Welcome, I also live in Contra cost county. I had a 73 340 rally for 20 years and raised my family in it, nothing like the sound of a thermoquad with no  air cleaner and all four suckin in air like a jet engine. If you are near Concord on Friday nights we have a cruise get together at Kinders off Hwy-4 all vehicle makes welcome. Oh yea, love the Craigers. That's what I had on my car!
