NOOB drive shaft question
« on: July 20, 2005 - 03:20:49 PM »
I recently acquired 3 or 4 driveshafts with a parts Duster. The guy said that one of them may fit my 74 Cuda. How can I tell which one, if any, that I can use?

it depends what trans & diff the 74 Cuda has,, you can slide in the shafts & se if it lines up with your diff , the shaft should be about 1.5" shorter than the distance between the two & the U joint needs to be the same size or you will need a conversion U Joint , the 904 & 727 use a different size slip yolk too

Thanks. I'm using a 727 trans that was given to me. I'll have to wait until I get it all in the car and see I guess.
