1971 Challenger rear valance hardware
« on: April 24, 2017 - 07:44:49 PM »
Sorry for the ignorant question.

I'm getting ready to test fit the rear valance on the wife's 1971 R/T Challenger.

I installed a 1967 B body rear end and I had to trim the brackets on the rear valance to clear the Dr. Diff offset spring hangers.

In the past I have always mounted the rear valance with aftermarket short nuts and bolts and 2 sheet metal screws for the center mount on the valance.

This time I purchased the correct? rear valance hardware kit which consists of 2 screws for the center of the valance,
2 clips and small screws for the top holes of the valance and clips, studs and nuts for the lower holes on the valance.

So do the clips and studs mount to tabs on the quarter panels or to the tabs on the valance itself?

Thanks.

2-Threaded studs go on the body/fender pointed straight back
