Yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing some particulars about this also. Curious what was done to it and what the asking price was. Was there a build thread? Curious to see how mine compares to get some kinda valuation.

I think he was asking 20k.  It was alteration front end built 440 if I recall needed paint but would look amazing as is

If he was asking 20K it was a smoking deal. Car need paint and interior from the pics I saw last but had an alterkation front suspension, mini-tubbed, 4-link, nice wheels and tires, and a complete drive train. This was a killer deal. Wish I would have seen it because I would have bought it in a heart beat.

The deal ended up not going through folks. I admit the car was not in as good of shape in the pictures, i.e. paint faded and surface rust, but it would be understood the body and paint needed to be done. In the end both parties decided we wanted to reconsider. I still have it but I think I'm going to fix some issues, bodywork and at least make the rear seat fit the narrowed wheel housings.

I'm going to sit on it for awhile and see if I can find a shop space and clean the body up. We'll see what happens.

To be more clear with the situation, the deal did go through with a buyer but there were some concerns and reservations. I did not misrepresent the car and it was looked at by the buyer. Long story short, the buyer started pulling some things apart and discovering more body work needed the buyer expressed remorse. Of course, I would always have remorse for selling it so I told him I would give him the money back. Luckily, I had not applied any of it to my debts which was the reason for sale. This happened within days of the sale so it was easy to do since nothing had been done with the DMV as well.

I ended up doing some things to keep the wolves away by hocking the cuda to a family member for a fraction of the selling price. I got some breathing room and can now buy a piece of property and quit renting. This requires moving out of state but I make the same amount regardless of location and cost of living will be dramatically less than where I live now. I'm going to pay down my debts and get the car out of hock.
