Advice for a reliable street ignition
« on: May 13, 2017 - 09:58:29 PM »
I just want to know if anyone is running this setup:  440 engine with MP electronic distributor, Chrome 4 pin box, MSD 8222 hi-vibration coil and an .8 ohm MSD 8214 ballast resistor.  Is this a reliable set up?  Would love to hear if anyone likes this set up.

Car is NOT raced.  It's a driver.

Thank you in advance for your input.

Mike

I'm not running that setup but i feel its reliable for a driver IMO. If you are traveling distance, keep some spares an board, i.e. mag pick up, chrome box a coil and a resistor to be secure.  :2thumbs:
