« on: May 16, 2017 - 10:09:11 PM »
Is there anyone on here that is running there Cuda or Challenger without a fan shroud?  I noticed mine doesn't have one and wondered if its a big deal or not?

Usually cools better with a shroud, if you're not running hot, I wouldn't sweat it.

Lots of older cars did not run them originally but I guess it's not that big a deal unless it's running warm at low speed.

I kinda like them as a safety thing when I'm tuning an engine while it's running. That would blow to get a timing light cord tangled up. Haha

I'm running a big block stroker and switched from an electric fan to a stock seven blade. I didn't put a shroud on it yet mostly due to the fact it's a Champion rad and I will have to modify a mopar one to fit - but it's been like this all last year without any cooling issues at all. I think I will leave it alone....if it ain't broke type of thing.
