I had to cut the outside lip off the back panels that wraps around in order for me to slide it back enough to get the clearance. There should be a picture a page or two back.

I thought about the corvette seats, but they look too narrow when they are not in a vette.  I looked a lot of seats before I settled on these.  Gran Prix seats are pretty nice (almost got those) and Miata seats are ok too.   I don't think they are too high at all, its just the angle.  They may be slightly higher then stock, but no more than an inch.  Thats a good thing for me, I'm pretty tall and the factory seats would only serve to break my neck in an accident.
Last pic, I'll say no more about it, this is Justin's thread about his awesome interior work.
hey plum crazy have you set the ones in the rear i found a set today and was woundering how you was going to make the rear work?

Hey Trouble,

I wasn't going to install them in the back.  I'll use the stock seats in the rear.  I have some paint from SEM that matches the front seats that I used to paint all the interior panels and the back seats.

Since you used two pieces for the side panels, it kinda makes me start thinking about a two-tone design.  Maybe ostrich skin....

Justin,
Can you tell us what brand/style/weight vinyl you used for the door panels and stuff?

Thanks,
Chris

I know this is an older thread but was wondering if there have been any updates or problems with any of the wraps maybe unglueing themselves or anything like that.

Here is a couple of how they ended up in the car.   I think the size is just right.  I have to tell you, these seats change the entire driving experience of this car.  So comfortable and supportive.  I really like how they turned out.

They look really nice.  And they fit the E-body interior well.  I like them.

Thanks.  It's funny, a lot of folks that don't know old mopars just think they are stock.  I have to remind them these cars are almost 50 years old. ;)
