To bad they got the Max HP of the 64-65 wrong.....  180? Don't think so... The solid lifter 273 Commando put out 235 HP  still not equal to Fords 271 HP 289 but not 90 HP short....

Thanks for sharing. Good read indeed.

I always liked the fast back Mustangs, particularly the Mach Ones but the coupes never did all that much for me. They look nice at 50 feet but when I get closer, I can't help but notice how small and puny they are. the other thing I see is how rickety they were designed and built. Probably kept cost down I suppose. You will always get more of your product on the road when you make them more affordable. Ford really hit a home run with them but I'll take any of the Barracudas any day!
