FAST EZ EFI 2.0 KITS DROP IN PRICE!!
« on: May 15, 2017 - 06:48:43 PM »
I made a couple calls today to get opinions on an efi system on my 512 stroker.I was made aware of a price drop from EZ EFI to keep competitive. Why couldn't they offer this special pricing before? I was also told the FiTech systems afre cheap junk right down to the fittings.

Let's hear your take on comparing the 3 main units : FAST EFI vs Holley Sniper vs FITECH.

FI Tech has got good reviews.  Others are coming down due to FI Techs prices.
The FI tech fitting issue is supposed to be solved.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I am surprised that no one else had interjected:

Bottom line, I hated by FAST EZ  (1.0):  Now understand, that wasn't my first FI install:  I have used the E Brock system, and the FI Tech.

The E brock system was GREAT:  But many many hoses, wires, etc.

FAST:  I could NEVER get it to run right, customer service sucked, and there are many posts on the web that stated they had probs to;  It go so bad I had it removed, and it has sat on my work bench for over a year now.  Plus many wires, hoses, etc, etc.

FI tech.  Quite frankly, the easiest and cleanest system I installed.  And it works, period.

I have the FITECH system.  I don't have experience with the others.  the install was straight forward.  The fittings were difficult.  That was also my first try using that type of push lock fitting.  I am running the fuel command and also using the timing control.  The price point of the unit was a major factor in choosing it but I could not be happier with the final result.  I would use this system again if I had another project.  I called tech support for 1 question and they actually answered the phone.  I did wait about 5 weeks for mine.  It's been installed for 1 full summer and I used it for about 4,000 miles. looking forward to more easy starting, good throttle response and the piece of mind knowing that I won't be stranded.  It made my car a lot more reliable compared to the 3 different Carbs that used to top the motor.
Good luck.
