72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Oh ... that is nice.

After Mopes, my second automotive passion is '61-'72 chrome bumper Vettes. :thumbsup:

I'm not a fan of War-Bonnet Yellow, but that is really nice looking Corvette in exceptional condition for being 45 years old. :2thumbs:

I bought my '68 AMX390 "GoPack" from the original owner's family, three years ago. Fully loaded, a/c, ps, PDB, am/fm, console, bucket seats, posi,  factory tach, zero rust, color: Calcutta Russet, 81,000 documented miles, 315hp/425 ft lbs tq. Bad thing is parts are more expensive/rarer for it than the Challenger. Chrysler now owns licensing rights and can bring it back,  etc

Yes. Occasionally the "Barn Finds" are out there.

Since we're talking Vettes and sharing photos, couldn't resist sharing mine. It's a 64. That gold 72 is beautiful. I really enjoy the early 70s look of those cars.

I really had Corvette fever for a couple decades. Owned 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1992, and a 2000 brand new...six altogether. The Europeans never understood how GM could bring the 68-72 Corvette to market for such a low price. Fiberglass allowed exotic shapes affordable for the Blue Collar worker. I still love Vettes to this day. A lotta bang for the buck!

when I was about 10, the fastest car on the planet was the 63 Jag, I believe. But the Vettes soon surpassed it.
