440 Power Steering Alignment Issue
« on: June 08, 2017 - 09:20:56 PM »
I have a issue my power steering is not lining up about a 1/2" off.   I'm confused it's a double pulley with water pump & alternator in the back and ps in the front- but the ps pump appears to line up with water pump pulley.   Do I have the wrong ps pulley?  It measures from the front of the bracket to the back edge of the pulley about 15/16".   It looks like it should be about a 1 1/2" to line up with the ps groove on the crank pulley.

Yup... Not really the right pump either.... I mean it's a Saginaw but Mopar typically used the reservoir with the oval filler.... And a three spoke pulley

My power steering goes to the aft pulley on the balancer and water pump/alternator goes to the front pulley.  That may be the problem...
