4speed bench seat cudas????
« on: June 20, 2017 - 09:05:46 PM »
I came across a picture that showed a bench seat with a 4 speed/ pistol grip shifter in a cuda? My question is: did Chrysler ever build that combination? I've seen a handful of bench seat /auto on the column but never manual
Trans with a bench.

I don't think you can put a bench seat in with a 4 spd unless you relocate the seat brackets. I'm pretty sure the seat would be covering the shifter a bit in the stock location.

My buddy's 1970 Road Runner had a 383 , 4 speed pistol grip and a bench seat back in the day. What is different with the E bodies?

From 70-74, B/E bodies trans had the dual mount for the shifter body. The rear mount was for e-Bodies and the forward mount was for B Bodies, thus giving more room for a bench seat.
