2010 Challenger RT Rear Spoiler
« on: August 21, 2017 - 11:16:45 AM »
Can someone tell me if this is a correct statement, that for a rear spoiler, the factory only drilled two holes, closer to the edge of the deck lid for the screws on the ends of the spoiler and applied three pieces of two faced tape to hold down the center area of the spoiler.

If so, is there some sort of documentation to show the locations of these areas for the tape and for the screw holes?

Thank you

That is correct, I don't have the measurements but if you buy or have a spoiler you should be able to figure it out. I replaced the factory painted spoiler on my 2010 with an aftermarket one. Removing the factory one wasn't hard but you have to take your time. I highly advise getting some 3M automotive double sided tape (any auto parts store should carry it, get the 1/2" wide stuff).

Thank you very much, those measurements help out a lot.
I'm installing this on Sunday and got a roll of 1/2" wide 3M double faced tape.
It didn't come with a spoiler so I don't need to worry about cleaning anything old tape up.
Hopefully it won't take too long.
Thanks again
