70 Challenger Heater Box
« on: August 19, 2017 - 05:52:47 PM »
I installed a Vintage A/C System in my '70 Challenger and so have the original (working) heater box available.....   What is something like this worth?

Thanks

Is it an AC heater box or non-AC.  It seems that people are looking more for the non-AC boxes, so they're probably worth a little more.

I have several of the non AC boxes. When I have time and want to turn a couple extra bucks, I sell the restored ones easily at Spring Fling for $500. I also have now trouble getting $300 for unrestored ones that are in decent condition.

I installed a vintage air system.    Then sold the original heater/ac box, fan motor, old compressor for $250 off of craigslist.  The car had sat for 9 1/2 years, and the factory AC had been disconnected, so i doubt if the heater core, and ac evaporator, or compressor were in usable condition without a rebuild..  So was very happy with the $250.
