1970 Hemi Challenger or 2018 Dodge Demon??
« on: January 07, 2018 - 01:04:59 PM »
Drove my 70 Hemi Challenger to pick up a buddies 2018 Demon!  Was pretty cool seeing them both together in the Chrysler parking lot.  Dealership wanted a small burnout in their parking lot for their website.  On the way home we did go light to light, needless to say I got smoked, but not by as much as you would think!  It was early Saturday morning and no traffic :)  I think I still prefer the original!

That's a beautiful 70 Challenger!

Is it just me or does the Demon look like a smaller new Challenger?

I gotta say that as much as I love my 70; I would not turn away from a new Demon. Of course no one is going to offer to trade so I think the 70 will be around for awhile.

Awesome picture of both side by side. I have both a 528" Hemi 70' Challenger R/T & a 2012 Challenger R/T Classic. While the newer has all of the creature comforts & still is quite fast with great gas mileage I would never sell my classic for a newer Challenger though. As fast as the newer cars are the Demon has got to be a rush for sure.

I have thought about this and to be honest, I would opt for a Hellcat over a Demon I think; not that interested in a Drag car.
