Shaker Hood
« on: June 03, 2017 - 03:34:12 AM »
Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a shaker hood kit for a 2016 Challenger with a 3.6 liter or if anyone has figured out how to adapt one  of the V8 kits to the 3.6 liter.

You could go with the Cervini's HellCat hood.  It comes with the ram air kit and everything you need.  They will even paint the hood in your matching color as well as the underside if you opt to select that option on check out.

A shaker set up is going to be the most difficult, however it is entirely doable. You are just going to have get creative to get it mounted. Since they are not all that functional in the first place, its just a matter of making brackets to hold the bubble in the right spot. Contrary to popular believe, the shaker hood scoop were not very effective and were done more for marketing than performance. I personally never really liked them and much preferred the RT hood or the TA hoods and after removing a couple of original cars, they are a PIA.
