Just picked up my restored 1971 Challenger

I have a 383 60 over TRW L 2293 Dome pistons Comp Cam Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Duration 279/296, Lift 486/473. Edelbrock Heads 60185 (88cc Complete)with a Edelbrock 650 Carb,and Holly Street Dominator intake Manifold. TTI Headers and Electronic Dumps.

Ni-i-i-ice. . . From the pics the color seems a bit darker than modern day Toxic Orange, but not to the point of 70-71 Burnt Orange; pulled out of the oven just right and that interior contrasts to just the right point :2thumbs:

Bet you are just waiting for the day you can start putting smiles umm...miles on your ride :)

Looks close to 70 FK5 to me... 71 GK6 is darker...  The last digit of the code kinda indicates that....
FY1 is a light Yellow
TX9  is  black....

EB3 is a light silver blue
EB5 medium blue
EB7 dark blue
