440 Aluminum Heads
« on: February 01, 2018 - 10:08:46 PM »
I’m building a low budget .040 over 440 for a Charger project. 9.5 compression, mild Lunati Voodoo cam. I’m about to pull the trigger on some low buck Aluminum heads. Anyone have any opinions on Promaxx vs Edelbrock E Street vs Sidewinder heads?

gonna check with 440source.com?
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

I looked. They are on sale for $500 each which is great. I’m leaning toward the ez street heads right now because of the smaller combustion chamber.
