1972 Cuda Wiper Linkage Arm Bushings
« on: January 15, 2018 - 10:23:01 PM »
Does anyone know where I can purchase the brass bushings for the wiper linkage arms for a 1972 Cuda, E-Body, for a 3 speed wiper motor.

Not sure what brass bushings you are referring to, do you have any pictures?

Attached is a photo of the end of the wiper linkage arm. There are two brass bushings which fit on the wiper arm and one which goes over the motor area which is a little larger.

Thanks, you peeked my interest so I did some digging and came up with this thread.

Check out member Jules the wiperman; apparently he rebuilds all things wiper related (he is on the thread).

It sounds like this guy Jules did a lot of restoration work for Mopar guys. People like him are hard to find. I'm sure he is missed.

I have not been able to even find a new set of linkage arms, not so sure if anyone sales them. I have seen a lot of used ones, but the bushing are probably like mine, worn out. I have even seen some restored linkage arms, again the bushings were not replaced.

Since I really need new bushings, I'm going to see if this guy my son knows will machine new brass bushings for my linkage arms.

Thanks for the assistance,

George
