    Does anyone know the u bolt length for xhd leaf springs on an 8 3/4 inch axle housing.

    I measured the axle and perch which are around 3 1/4 inches and the springs are about 1 1/2 inches. 

    I see u bolts up to 9 inches and the shortest being 6  5/8.

    Anyone use that xhd’s om an 8 3/4 and know their bolt length. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    When you say "xhd" springs, what exactly do you mean? How many leaves are in your springs? I put Mopar Super Stock leaf springs under my 74 Challenger and used the original oem U-bolts. I think the right spring had 6 leaves and the lft had 5, but I'll have to check to confirm that. Not sure if that helps or not.  :cheers:

    Thanks for reply. I got some u bolts 6 3/4 long. They could have been a half inch shorter but will work fine.

    Mopar XHD leaf springs are what were used on all e bodies from the factory from what I read. I put new ones on and will see what the ride height is.

    Test fit a HDK front suspension under it. Need get brakes/wheels/tires see how it sits. Then take it apart and get suspension powder coated. Paint bottom and engine compartment and put back together.  :working:
