Early 74?
« on: May 23, 2018 - 07:57:18 PM »
Just carefully removed the repaint from the inside of my drivers door and uncovered the original door sticker that says my car was made 10/73. I believe that 74's were only made for six months and were done by April so that should make mine one of the earliest ones. Not a big deal I'm sure just thought it was cool. Anyone know when 74's were first produced?

I dont know when production started but it seems like it must be around October as it seems like most Ebodies regardless of years seem to be made in that month. My 70 was a October 69 build and I think my 73 was a October of 72 build (have to check).

Your fender tag would have more information to add to that door sticker date.
Does it have the tag?

74 production dates are from August of 73 through July of 74.
