twin scoop cuda hood pal nut size

Bought a aftermarket cuda bulge hood with the twin scoops and the scoops didn't come with the nuts to fasten to hood.
What size pal nuts? is the stud a 3/16 or 1/4? thanks

According to the book I have they are #10 self threading nuts.

its closer to 3/16. I would't try and screw some nuts on those studs, the thread pitch is different. You can get the self tapping nuts on Amazon for like $5 or even try your local parts store in the help section, I have seen them there.
