    My dash finally arrives.  :bigsmile: Unfortunately I won't be able to see it for another three weeks.  :(
    But the wife sent pics. Looks OK from here. Maybe not perfect, but it's hard to tell from photos.

    Hey Cudacruiser. I'm considering a B5 or B7 blue for a cuda project.  Do you have any updated pictures from the assembly? What is the paint and coloring you chose?

    1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

    "usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

    So... it's been two years since posting last. I didn't think this restoration would take two years when I started it. It might take another ten. My life took a 180 in August of '15.     I did get the dash put in though before I had to park it.



    So now it sits under the car cover waiting for the day when I can get back to working on it. Meanwhile I gotta go sell some beer.

    Congrats on the brewery!  My brother and I were going to open one about 4 years ago but we came across an opportunity to invest in a friends instead.  They are doing great!

    How did you get the duct vents fixed or replaced?  I have a B5 interior too and my vent louvers are trashed.

    The only dash component I had to replace was the radio. I replaced it with an 8 track tape player when I first got the car way back when. Also had to replace the speaker grill. It was beyond repair. Everything else is original. Just cleaned it up.

    Wish I were Mike. The time it took me to reply to your post is an indication of were my focus is at. The brewery has me 24/7. Hopefully it'll get easier soon and I'll have the time and resources to finish it. My grandson will be ready to drive in eight years. I hate seeing it just sitting there. But at least hasn't been a forgotten piece of rust disappearing into the ground.
