Windshield whizzers wanted
« on: July 24, 2017 - 11:34:22 AM »
Looking for two windshield washer sprayer nozzles -- need to be working and in good shape.

I know they repop these for around $30.

But am hoping for something cheaper since I would rarely use them.

Considering how many of the repo's fall apart at the connection of the tab to the tube I'd pay more for originals....

Honestly I'd always expect to pay more for original parts because they are known to be of proven quality... Repo parts.. Not so much....

Well, it took long enough....lol...ended up getting a repop kit at the Ohio Nats this last summer.

Just getting around to installing it now.

It doesnt come with any real instructions.....and cant figure out in what orientation the black "T" for the hoses goeses.

Should the T part feeding the two nozzles be toward the windshield or away? Looks like once it is snapped into place there is no easy going back....so figured I best find out.

My old hood has the OEM pee-rs on it and I could reference that,  but its wrapped and stored.....    :pullinghair:

Found this picture on Moparts....for 70-71---mine is a 72....probably the same right?

I believe they are the same for all years, but in reference to you question the T is connected to the black plastic clip which attaches to the hood via a small rubber hose and then tee's off left and right to go to the nozzles. Once you start putting it together its pretty intuitive.
Current Mopar

Past Mopars
9 x Challengers. AAR Cuda, 4 RR, 2 GTX, 4 Chargers, etc... (too many to list)

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, easy enough but just didn't want to assume what direction that black plastic T setup goes.....looks like it would be a bear to get out without breaking it. I hate plastic stuff.

Have it all installed and the foot pumper is working great.....  if I hit it really hard I can shoot up over the roof...LOL

Don't really NEED working pee-rs really.....car doesnt see slop...an occasional rain though so "just in case".

Completely understand, I am somewhat of the same way, if it is there I want it to work. I installed a WW system on my 73 Cuda Road Race project and put the squirters on the AAR hood. I will most likely only ever use it one time (to see if it works) but I will have it just in case.
