hi All
I have a problem with my 70 Challenger which I hope someone has come across before. I'm in Australia so parts & info are not readily available, anyway my car was an original non power assist, drum brake car to which I have fitted discs at the front. I sourced a Challenger master cylinder & booster set up & had a problem when fitting it in that I didn't realise that I needed the little linkage setup to connect to the pedal, I eventually sourced that kit from Classic Ind. & got everything hooked up. After having a bleeding problem which required all new flexible hoses we were able to get a hard pedal, the problem is that the pedal is way too close to the floor for comfort. The pedal is hard & the car seems to stop ok, but when pressed hard the pedal is virtually touching the floor so full travel is only an inch or so. Can anyone suggest anything? Is there a different pedal box or setup for disc brake cars with a master vac style booster? Have I missed something? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You
Richard
