Pinion oil seal

My 70 Challenger has a 9 1/4" rear axle fitted around 1974-78. It has a bad leak on the pinion oil seal. I don't know the exact year or what it came out of. Is there any way to further identify it to get the right seal or are they all the same? Does anybody know the seal part number. I'm in UK so have to order online and would like to get it right first time.

Not endorsing them just first one I clicked on when I googled Dana 60. I do not have one and don't claim to know the correct answer. I would give them a call if I were you. Also are you sure that you cannot find it locally. I would be surprised if some parts business in the UK or nearby, didn't have these available. These were very popular in trucks. I would try to clean up the old one and check it for numbers also...

Those are some good points, very few items (especially drive train) are specific to just that car or line. No doubt that rear end was used in other things and that seal used in even more things. As jhaag says, there is a number stamped in there that should provide a parts vendor to find one.

Sorted. Took a chance and ordered part USA30121 (USA-30121) from rock Auto. It fits.
