Hey guys, hoping you can help me out. Just did a 4 spd swap in my 70 Cuda and added a console. We did not have a 4 speed top plate when installing the console brackets so I used some measurements I got off the site here. My new top plate arrived tonight and now wondering if we installed the console too far forward. Can anyone with a 4spd and console take a couple pics of their shifter in neutral and in second gear from the side so I can see how centered the shifter is in the top plate? Thanks a bunch

Have a 73 , can put the console back in and check, not sure if it will be the same , I would think it would be.

1) neutral
2) 2nd
3) 1st
4) console rear hole
5) end of rule against rear of shifter when in 1st
6) console distance to rear hole
7) console mounting holes

:Your welcome , the 4 speed and console are not original to the car , but there are no issues with the shifting.
