Drip Edge Moulding
« on: September 12, 2019 - 04:16:24 PM »
How do you remove the moulding on the drip edge? I'm trying to remove it before I get the car painted. I wasn't sure if I need to remove the rubber weather seal, if it's secured with screws, or pressed on. It's on a 70 Barracuda. Thanks.

The rubber sits in channels in the trim and had some glue on the base, so you need to remove the screws in the door jam forward, then peel the rubber out. After that, if you look up in where the rubber was you will see some screws, remove them and that will take out the outer drip rail molding. Once that is out, look under there and you will see some more screws, take those out and the inner molding comes out.
