Chargers in Australia
« on: July 15, 2005 - 02:35:07 AM »
I just got back from a month in Australia and found these two OZ Chargers in the same parking lot.  They were the only Chargers I have seen in many previous visits there as well.

The Red one is a 245 Hemi with a 4 speed and 7 1/4 rear.  looks like it has been sitting there for a long time.  Cobwebs all over and I saw it parked there during a previous visit a year earlier.

The Blue one is in almost mint condition and had a 5.9 badge.  It was an Automatic.  I waited for hours trying to find the owner but never did show up.

Thought I would share some pictures.  Sorry about the quality, I had to borrow a friends disposable camera and it was late in the afternoon.

Yip they are great cars, and are easily obtainable down here in New Zealand.  ;)
265 HEMI's could run the 1/4 mile in the high 13's.
