Horn Help Rim Blow

My horn does not work by depressing the center horn button.  If I remove the cover and ground the wire to the wheel it will work.  By looking at the wheel it would appear that maybe the area circled is deformed and is the culprit?  I do not have any books or prior knowledge so hope one of the knowledgable on the group can point me in the correct direction.  TIA

Of it is a rim blow, I do not believe the horn will not work by pressing the center, it is activated by the rubber switch that runs along the rim

Pretty sure you are not the first guy to press on it and wonder why the horn didn't work.  I had a buddy back in the day, a bit older than me who had worked at our local Dodge and Plymouth dealership. He was telling me how often they would remove rim blow wheels and toss them because the customers didn't like them or they didn't work. I've had a few of them and in fact still have one now hanging on my wall; that damn horn stripe can be a pain to get to work sometimes.

Thanks for trying to soften the blow but the name makes sense now.  Going to take me awhile to catch up on this car I think but I can say I do love it

No worries, keep in mind none of us were born with any knowledge about these cars and had to learn it the hard way. You can ask any question you want on here and we will be happy to answer, regardless of how minor you might think it is.
