    Hi
    Does any other drum brakes fit from a newer car on a 8 3/4" axle ?
    Or an idea of disc brake conversion kit from summit ? Good or bad

    I meant if there was a newer car that I could pick brakes from that fits the axel.
    I´m living in Sweden and the shipping etc costs more that new brakes from Dr diff/Summit etc so I was thinking a newer car/truck with 8 3/4" and same bolt pattern on both axel and wheel

    I recall folks using/modifying ~1995ish Jeep Grand Cherokee rear disk brakes to fit.  I don't recall the details.

    What year car are you working on? The short answer is that you should be able to get the brakes off any 8 3/4, they were made up to 74 I believe.

    It's a 1970 Challenger.
    I bought new 10" drums and brake shoes with all springs etc so "problem" solved,thanks for answers :thumbsup:
