Does anyone know who currently is making/selling the best fitting shaker hood rings for Challengers? I bought one from AMD and it is sitting on an AMD shaker hood but the rear of the shaker ring peak is way too high. The rear of the shaker peak does not properly fit the center style line in the hood. I called AMD and they acknowledged issues with this part.
I know there were a few manufactures for shaker rings, but most seemed to have disappeared since AMD started selling theirs. Anyone got suggestions of who sells a nice fitting non-AMD Challenger shaker ring?
I don’t think this is an isolated issue, so curious what others who have dealt with this did. Did you reshape the part, cut and tig weld it?
