Nothing wrong with any of that. I had never heard of the M46 option until I saw one of your posts and had to look it up. I cannot say that I have ever seen one and given the production number I can see why. I am pretty sure that many of them got those scoops removed and tossed somewhere along the way by people who didn't appreciate them and thought them weird. I have to admit if I would have seen one before learning about them I would have never believed it was a factory option.
To this point, things like this are what pulled me into Mopar's from a young age, no 2 of them were ever the same and there were many weird options and builds along the way. I am sure you would agree that there is currently far more V code and R code equipped Ebodies (Not VIN'd that way of course) running around than were ever actually made originally. I was never a fan of the 71 Cuda, they are ok but I personally prefer the 70, then the 72-74. You cannot got to any Mopar event without a stream of 71's (all with shakers of course) showing up.
Thanks for bringing these rare cars to light. My 73 was Petty (Corporate) blue originally with a blue interior (318, AT w/rear defroster). Very low option car, but I needed it lime green to emulate a 70 AAR I once owned.
