Convertible Audio??

Just curious what others have done.  Not wanting to install any speakers in the kick panels or door/rear interior panels.  Want to just use the 3-speaker dash, and possibly sub behind rear seat and/or under the front seats.  All suggestions appreciated.  BTW -- Also, I want to have a blue-tooth capable amp/crossover/equalizer.  NO after-market/head-unit.  Thanks.

Sub behind the seat works well, obviously even better when the top is up.

In my '70 vert, I installed 4 inch speakers right next to the two rear panel lights - so you get the value of the sound coming out of the cut-outs in the rear panels ..... I also had my AM/FM upgraded to handle my ipod and iphone ......   Oh - and its my understanding you must get speakers with the proper ohm capacity if you are running an original radio - there's an outfit near Minneapolis area that sells them.   PM me if interested and I'll look up the name.

I'm gonna do about the same for my convertible, a couple of subs in the trunk with a fairly high crossover point shold take care of the punch, maybe 120-130Hz, that bass is not directional so it will sound good top up or down. Then I got a dual coil center speaker, don't know if its any good yet, if not I'll make a custom speaker fit there, and I'm gonna try to fit as large speakers as I can in the dash corners, hopefully I can find a pair of Focals that I can fit with minor mods. I also bought the kickpanels with Kenwwod 4" speakers already in them from Year One, but the panels look like crap, and the speakers don't look like hi quality either, probably not gonna use those at all. Got a good 5 Ch poweramp, gonna look for some kind of bluetooth device so I can use my iPhone as the source.

Still looking for ideas. Anybody have any luck with bluetooth amps, under-seat speakers, subwoofer behind rear seat?
