Heater
« on: November 05, 2020 - 02:07:15 PM »
What can I do, if my heater does not work. Would be nice to get some suggestions.
Because now it is November and in Austria, it is already really cold. I am thankful for each suggestion I can get.
Greetings from Austria, Lara

Not exactly sure by what you mean "does not work", does the fan come on or does it just not blow warm air?

If the fan doesn't come on, then either you have a wiring issue or the fan motor isn't working and will probably require a replacement one. You need to do a test using a 12V source to see if it will work or not.

If the fan works but you are not getting warm air then the heat core is your issue and most likely either not connected or plugged up. Easy to see if it is connected or not as the 2 lines in the engine compartment are very noticeable. If they are connected and after they engine is warm they should be warm as well; if they are then your core is probably plugged up and needs to be replaced which means dropping the heater box.
