Hey Gang,
Well, I have decided to go with an aftermarket A/C conversion, so I am going to liquidate the A/C parts I have collected as well as the factory heater parts. Here's what I have....
1. Complete A/C setup
A/C box with actuators, vacuum lines, and evap core (core looks good but I haven't pressure tested it).
A/C heater core (looks good but haven't pressure tested it)
Underhood A/C lines w/ most brackets.
Rally bezel with A/C controls (vacuum swich works but probably ought to be replaced)
All ductwork
Compressor
Condensor (may need work, not sure)
2. All factory heater stuff
Heater box- fair shape...but I'm sure there are better examples out there
Cowl vents
Cowl vent cables and knobs
Heater core (looks good but haven't tested it)
3. A/C firewall patch section- for those that want to convert a non-AC firewall to an AC firewall
Here's what I need:
Rally heater control bezel
As for prices and stuff....I'm not looking to make a killing.....email me for prices....I have some money tied up in the patch piece and the A/C parts, but not a whole lot. Probably the most valuable piece in all this stuff is the rally AC control and bezel.
I'm also willing and insterested in restoring the A/C box ala the Mopar Muscle article
http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techarticles/34500/index.htmlI have a bead blast cabinet and I figure it would be fun. I would need to track down some of the restoration parts, like the foam and stuff, and the result would certainly not be as spectacular as what SMS would do, but my job wouldn't cost near as much!
