I doubt very much it would be the tach, nothing a new hood wouldn't fix.
Did you jam the ad full of info etc? My guess is they may have thought scam.

The problems that I see:
1. Hood Tach, sell it to a Pontiac guy.
2. Damage to shaker hood, see problem #1.
3. Luggage Rack...screams nerd.
4. No rear wing.
5. Green and white...deadly combo.
This car has lots of possibilities. I wish that I still owned my 70 convert.
Regardless of the obvious negatives, it's still a way kool car that most of us would love to own. Good luck and I hope you get your price.

Remove the tach.
People that buy the high dollar Cudas want it to look original. Even in the clones. If someone wanted a modified Cuda they would buy a cheaper one. Take Burpin for example. burpin wants a convert clone. So Burpin is going to start out with his 72 cuda and clone it to a 71 cuda. The main problem is getting that aluminum 71 grill that Burpin keeps dreamin about.

Rich nerd maybe, you seen what those are going for nowadays? :ack:
Lose the hood tach, other than that sweet car.

I could live with the color combination, the luggage rack, the tach, the Hemi, the top that drops, & having a nice car, so I'm sure others would as well. Maybe it's just the price that keeps people away. Is it priced to sell?

Don't let Ebay discourage you. Ebay isn't the place for that kind of car. If you go to completed auctions and see all the auctions in red its ridiculous. The only green auctions are the lower priced cars. How much are you asking?
