My Challengers first run
« on: July 30, 2005 - 07:11:27 AM »
I took my car to the alignment shop yesterday (on the trailer) and had the front aligned and torsion bar adjustment done. I picked her up and got to drive it for the first time ;D I have a few adjustments still to make but she ran good . I just loved hearing that Mopar thunder when I nailed the pedal for the first time and got pushed back in to the seat, she  had a stumble at about 3000 rpms but soon caught back upto 4500 and when I shifted the auto tranny into second we had liftoff, she left twin blackmarks  about 30 feet. I stayed in the gas and when she hit 4500  again I shifted in to drive and there were another set of twin marks. I was grinning from ear to ear. I was a proud pappa at that point.  ;D

Glad to hear all went well.  You must have an ear to ear grin (and I don't blame you one bit!).
