Floor Pan replacement
« on: August 06, 2005 - 01:34:12 PM »
Heres some pictures of my floor, do you think I should replace just some parts of it or go for the hole ten yards, 3/4 lenght left and right and  the rear left and right. Do they make the panel for under the rear seat or do I cut out the bad and weld in some sheetmetal. Theres some guy that sells new 3/4 lenght floors on e-bay for 200.00 for the pair, is that a good price?
Thanks Guys
Jeff

You will have to fab your own pans or find a donor for the area below the rear seats.  I found a couple places that would sell that section from a donor to me, but they wanted to sell one piece that was the entire left and right section for around $300.  I, personally would go ahead and use new 3/4 length pans with the new rears.  You will find that replacing the entire pan isn't much harder than patching it.  Might even be easier.    All of the little holes that look easy to patch, can become nightmares really easy.
