1970 B5 and White Challenger - Knockout car!
« on: July 27, 2005 - 02:12:54 AM »
Well, its official!!  The 70 is for sale.  For whoever buys it its a SUPER solid Southern California car (I am in California) that is in really nice shape.  It was repainted less than two years ago, the top is less than a year old, the seats/buns are less than two years old and the motor has about 450 miles on it.  The motor is a 340 with forged pistons/steel crank/new mopar valve train gear from Mancini and brand new Edelbrock heads, brand new Edelbrock intake, MP polished alum valve covers, Holley 650, new AC compressor, new AC Clutch, I had the AC lines rebuilt using the original steel fittings tigged onto new style barbs with barrier hose, rebuilt suspension, 16" Torque Thrust front wheels with Toyo tires (kinda pricey) and 17" TT wheels with Toyos,  Rimblow wheel, new CD player etc, new fan clutch, new steel fan, perfect radiator and shroud, brand new TTI 2.25" exhaust and mufflers, brand new stainless steel exhaust tips, etc etc.

I will miss this car alot.  It cruises on the freeway with plenty of power, gets great mileage, never overheats or even comes close to it even on 100 degree days.  Car doesnt wander when steering, stops straight and tight, is quiet on the freeway and is the most pleasant older car I have ever owned or driven.  For any additional info email me at mail4winter@yahoo.com or call me at 707-816-9695.  I have a ton of photos of the car, its very photogenic!

Sorry, I forgot the price!  I am asking $25,000 or best offer for the car.  I have it listed for more on some other sites but if someone here wanted it I would be happier to have a true Mopar fan buy it.   I have a ton of photos of the car and can answer any questions at 707-816-9695.

Thanks for the interest!

The underbody pic was before I put the TTI dual exhaust in but now it has dual exhaust, twin stainless tips and sounds awesome but is not too loud for long distance cruising which is what it was built for!
