I recently pulled the engine and trans from a '86 Ramcharger two wheel drive. It was 318 powered. Would someone out there know what trans this would be. I was going to sell it to a friend for his '88 Ram pickup, but he said it was the same as what came out of his truck. I believe it to be a 727, but did they come with a different tail shaft than the car version? If so, does this fit anything else? Thanks!
