I have had some ask for pics of my ride as its being restored. Seems like i have had the doors off and on and off and on, and now the vinyl top has been stripped. I fortunate to have a straight 97% rust free car. Good floor boards, I did have to cut out a place about four inches by 6 inches in front of the driver side rear wheel as well as on the firewall. The drain behind the windshield wiper motor got stopped up with leaves. Car hasnt been on road since 1997. Body is stripped. Currently stripping all along the frame, and everything in the rear from axle back. Pics only show partially stripped. Leaving the original undercoating on the bottom of the floorboards. I enclosed a pic of what my car will look like after restoration (minus the convertible top of course) white interior, white stripe, white vinyl top (it came this way). 440 motor being built with .060 Ross pistons, Comp Cams kit, some head porting with stainless valves, new Edelbrock intake manifold, either a Holley or Edelbrock Thunder series carb (800 cfm). Some trick machine work and of course balancing the rotating assembly. Car to have P/S, P/B, A/C, and the other usual SE options. Will probably stay with the stock H exhaust manifolds...dunno for sure. Got alot more to do still, I am working now on the underside and rear inner fenderwells and up under the rear qtrs to get slick. Most people wont take the time to notice this, but its something I do for myself.........With a little luck I will have it ready for paint in the spring.
