    Driver's side remote mirror control

    Hey there,

    Anyone know where I can get a replacement driver's side remote mirror controller.  The chrome knob and the portion that it hooks to has rusted out and needs to be replaced.  I can send a picture of what I need.

    It's exactly what I am looking for but they do not ship north of the Border.

    Jerry,
       I'm just curious how you plan on attatching that controller back up to the cables that control the mirror? It seems to me like the last thing you would want to do is cut the cables.  :dontknow:

    Actually, you can detach the three ends of the cable inside the potmetal frame right behind the chrome control knob.  I needed to remove the control knob so that I coould detach the mirror assembly for painting.

    I discovered that with a bit of patience it can be done.  My contol knob is rusty and now is a good time to replace it.
