So I am buying a welder. What is the thickest gauge steel on an E-body that I could possibly need a welder for. Only reason is, I'd like to buy something I won't have to replace yadda yadda yadda. IF anyone has some adive or info for me I'd appreciate it.
If it matters, I have a 71 barracuda. Thanks again.

Asked the same question a few years ago, the Lincoln mig 10 from eastwood is what I ended up with , the frame rails are 14 guaage I think thats the thickest metal & I did some repairs on them no problem. works well, I use it with the gas. Rich.
